It Depends What’s In Your Cup
Have you ever been standing with a cup of coffee and someone’s knocked into you causing you to spill some of it?
Obviously, what is spilt depends on what is in the cup. If you have red wine then red wine would be, if you have tea then tea would be.
It’s the same in life, depending on what’s in your cup determines what spills out when knocked and therefore what damage is caused.

The Importance of Starting the Day with Mindset.
We wake every morning not knowing what life has in store for us. Yes, we have an idea of how our day is going to look. The outline. The structure. We do not know, however, the details. And the “devil is in the detail”.
This is what makes or breaks our day.
We have no control over our partner, kids, boss or colleagues mood. Nor the weather, a delayed train, social media or our clients’ demands.

You are the solution to your problems
As a Personal Trainer I had a client who not only insisted on training once a week but did nothing outside our sessions. After a couple of months they turned to me and said “ I don’t understand why I am not seeing better results”.
I had the unpopular task of pointing out; “Unfortunately 1hr with me is not going to cancel out the other 167hrs in your week. It takes more than one hour of exercise a week to get results.”

Aging From The Inside Out
Less than a hundred years ago in 1930 the life expectancy of a man was 60 and for a woman 64. By 1970 it was 68 and 72. And in 2015 it was 79 for a man and 83 for a woman.
So essentially we live 20 years longer than we did 85 years ago. (which is crazy to think that in another 85 years the majority of people will live well into their 100s.)
This is wonderful news and means that modern day medicine and our general healthier lifestyle is having a positive affect on our bodies.
